Jaston's Birthday Bash

Jaston woke up to a balloon-filled room on his birthday. I didn't think much of it but he loved it. He ran into my room and said " You have to see what the balloons are doing in my room."
We had Jaston's birthday party a day late. I just decided to invite a few friends and their kids. We kept it pretty low key but he is still talking about it today so I think it was a success.

Jaston opening his present from him cousins- he loved it.

The cafeteria at the hospital supposedly had amazing cakes so for the first time I didn't make a cake but ordered it. It turned out way cute. He loved it!

Jaston and his friend, Bay, admiring the cake.

Succeeded in blowing out the candles!

A pic of all the kiddos

I think he was excited to open presents.

His famous cheese face right now
I think he liked it.

Happy Third to my Baby Boy!

I know every mom says it and I'm going to join: I can't believe my baby is three! What a blessing this little man has been in our life. He keeps me on my toes all the time but he is such a sweet, caring boy and I love him! This boy is as boy as it comes. He was hard-wired to do all those crazy things boys do and all I can do is shake my head and laugh. Nothing surprises me anymore.
Jaston has such a fun personality and we are always laughing when Jaston is around. He is growing fast; we have had two people in the last few weeks ask if Jaston and Skylee were twins. He is always looking out for his sister. If I get him a treat while he is at school, we have to make sure we get one for Skylee. I have loved my one on one time with him. I know he will be a great big brother when the baby comes. Happy Birthday to my fav little guy ever!

Skylee's Dance Recital

Skylee had her first dance recital today. She did such a great job and was so stinkin' cute! The lighting in the room stunk so the pics aren't that great but it oh well. She was cute and had fun and that's all that matters. I thought she was too cute in her little outfit not to take some pictures of her. She was more than happy to pose for me. That kid makes me smile.

Jeff in Healthwise

My friend caught me at the gym yesterday and told me she saw Jeff in the hospital magazine so of course I had to snag one and blog about it (Jeff would roll his eyes about now). Anyhow, I thought it was fun and I would post about it anyway.
I know it's hard to read so I'll type it out: "Jeffrey Winger recently joined the KRMC Cancer Center team. As a nurse practitioner at the Center, he assists Dr. Kathleen Naegele to manage aspects of treatment for people with cancer. Additionally, he provides psychosocial support, symptom management, and other services for enhancing the quality of life of cancer patients and their families.

He received his Bachelor's of Science in nursing from Southern Utah University and is a recent graduate of Frontier Nursing University's Master of Nursing program. Prior to coming to Kingman, he practiced as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care and Oncology units at Intermountain Healthcare in St. George, Utah.

Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa's

I just found these pics on my camera. Thanksgiving night Grandpa pulled out his fire table and we all went out and roasted marshmallows for s'mores.

Half way there...

I am officially twenty weeks today- halfway there with this baby girl. This pregnancy has been different from my other two. Everything seems to be happening so much earlier. I started having round ligament pain at abt eight weeks- abt twenty weeks earlier than with Jaston. I started feeling the baby at abt 13 weeks- abt seven weeks earlier than my other two. I started having Braxton Hivks contractions at 18 weeks- abt four months earlier than with the other two.
I was able to run with this one a lot longer than my other two but this week I have kind of accepted my body can't handle it anymore. I will have to come up with less jarring exercises my ligaments in my belly just don't like the running.
I feel so so blessed to have this amazing miracle developing in my body. I don't understand why I have been so blessed to have healthy, full term pregnancies and babies while other women don't, but I do feel so blessed and hope that I can provide the home and atmosphere that these incredible spirits deserve. I have had so many friends struggle with infertility and losing babies recently that I sometimes feel guilty when this baby moves inside me. I have worried so much more this pregnancy that something will go wrong. But while this baby girl is kicking and healthy I guess I will just be grateful and pray The Lord will bless my dear friends whose hearts are aching.
