I can't believe my little baby boy is not little anymore. He is almost three and I just this week has been doing awesome with potty training.
This morning he was so sweet. He usually comes and climbs in bed with me for abt two minutes and then starts asking for breakfast. I should say demanding food repeatedly until I get out of bed. This morning he came and cuddled up next to me and his first words weren't for food but they were, "I love you the most!" I will honestly say it is sweet moments like that which make being a mom so rewarding.
Here are a few pics of my sweet kiddos.

Skylee's Kindergarten pic
Skylee Kindergarten 2012
5 Years old
5 Years old
One thing that I don't want to forget abt Skyler this year is how she goes to school in the morning. The first few weeks were a little rough. She was so excited at first to go to Kindergarten but after a few days I think the full day was really hard on her. So every morning I would be holding her as she cried and convincing her to go to school as I left and cried cuz I felt so bad. One thing that helped was the kissing hand. If you haven't read the book The Kissing Hand you really should. The gist of the story is you kiss their little palm and it stays there the whole day. If they start to miss you during the day they can just put their hand to their cheek and feel your love.
My heart always swelled seeing her walk away into that big school with her tiny hand on her cheek. Jaston always has to sign I Love You to her everyday when she leaves multiple times. So we are always yelling at her to turn around as she walks away so he can sign it again. She is so cute cuz she will sign it back and then keep her hand facing him as she walks away. So I have two sweet images of my Sky going to school- hand on the cheek and her little I love you behind her back. I need to take pics of her. I will admit u enjoy the full day Kindergarten now but it was hard for all three of us at first.
There have been a few days where I just feel so bad to send her. Like a few days ago she whacked her head HARD on our island and had a huge goose egg right before school. I took her to the school nurse and she said she was ok but I'm pretty sure Sky wanted to hear she had to go home. She did fine but I was so worried. It's tough to be a new mom of grade-schoolers. But she loves it and is learning that's all that matters right.

Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy
One of my friends here in Kingman asked me to sing in a trio for this patriotic production. We sang Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and it was so fun but tough! If you don't know the song it is fast and not only learning the words and my part of the three part harmony but we added choreography two days before the performance. And the day of the performance we found ourselves a trumpet player and added that to the mix. It was quite the adventure but really turned out fun and cute. Someone got a video of it but so far I haven't got a copy yet. If I do and am not too embarrassed by it I will try to post it. For now here are some pics of the three of us: Hillary Divis, myself and Katie Weber.

Sneak Peek
We got a sneak peek of our little babe yesterday. I don't think I've been so nervous to have an ultrasound before. I am so scared they will find something wrong that I may lose the baby. I'm not sure why my third is giving me so much anxiety. I guess I have had many of my close friends who have lost their babies or had complications and it just makes me nervous.
Today Skylee had a terrible cough this morning so I kept her home from school. So I ended up taking her to the doc with me. We got to hear the baby's heartbeat today for the first time. It was so fun. When we were walking out Skylee asked me, "Mom, was that a girl baby heartbeat or a boy's?"
She wants a little sister so bad. I have been trying to prep her for the possibility it might be a brother, and we need to be happy abt that too. It doesn't help the situation that her Dad keeps telling her it IS a girl because he is so sure it is. I have no idea how he can be so confident but we will find out for sure on Nov 27. I can not wait!!

Conference weekend in St. George
This past weekend we decided since we had no church responsibilities this week we would head to St. George and enjoy the weekend with our families. I guess I should mention on our way down there we went to Wicked In Vegas. So good!
We had a lot of fun in St. George. I just love conference weekend. I feel like I love and appreciate it more and more every year. I couldn't get enough of the sweet spirit and wonderful reminders of what my Heavenly Father wants me to work on in my life.
We did have a close call with Skylee. She fell at my parents house and tore up her chin pretty good. She tore the skin rather than cutting it. After my parents and I looked and analyzed we decided it wasn't deep enough for stitches. The thing that was worrying me was Skylee kept saying her teeth hurt. She goes to the dentist this week so hopefully everything's ok.
On the way home the kids crashed and slept for two hours it was nice:).i got to listen to all of that session of conference.

So darn cute
I was looking through my phone and found this pic of me and Baby Jedrek at Pasta Factory with some of my sweet girlfriends a few weeks ago. He is Britny's newest addition. And can you believe he was a month old when we took this? Ya he's a sweetie. I wish I live closer to snuggle him more and go to Pasta Factory with my girls I miss that too:)
PS: Sorry for the flipped pic, not sure what's going on with that. You'll just have to tip your head to see it.

Blessings
Last night at the dinner table I have to admit I was not in the best mood. I was hungry, nauseous, had been trying to hold off the kids til Dad got home, dealing with fighting children and I was just done when I sat down. Jeff asked me to say the prayer on the food ( I wonder why ;) but Jaston said he wanted to say it. So we said he could and he started and he said the entire prayer by himself for the very first time. It was so sweet, so innocent and heartfelt and just perfect. He melted away all my grumpiness and I couldn't help but smile and realize how blessed I am.
I think too often I get caught up in the little things that are bothering me and I don't step back and look at the amazing blessings I have in front of me everyday. I have an incredible husband who loves us and works hard for us and I have beautiful, sweet children that I am eternally grateful for. I sure hope my Heavenly Father can see past my grumbling sometimes and know I do recognize how truly blessed I am. I have an amazing extended family and wonderful friends too. I could not ask for more.
