Blessings

Last night at the dinner table I have to admit I was not in the best mood. I was hungry, nauseous, had been trying to hold off the kids til Dad got home, dealing with fighting children and I was just done when I sat down. Jeff asked me to say the prayer on the food ( I wonder why ;) but Jaston said he wanted to say it. So we said he could and he started and he said the entire prayer by himself for the very first time. It was so sweet, so innocent and heartfelt and just perfect. He melted away all my grumpiness and I couldn't help but smile and realize how blessed I am.
I think too often I get caught up in the little things that are bothering me and I don't step back and look at the amazing blessings I have in front of me everyday. I have an incredible husband who loves us and works hard for us and I have beautiful,sweet children that I am eternally grateful for. I sure hope my Heavenly Father can see past my grumbling sometimes and know I do recognize how truly blessed I am. I have an amazing extended family and wonderful friends too. I could not ask for more.
