Phone pics
Often times things happen and I don't have my nice camera to whip out so instead my Iphone becomes my camera. Not the greatest quality but at least I get to capture the moment.
We had the chance to see the Stapleys which we haven't been able to see since last July. They were such great neighbors to us when both Skylee and Jaston were born and the first few years of their lives. We sure miss having them as neighbors but it was fun to see them.
One of Brielle's new faces- the cheeser
We had a visitor in our van Christmas Eve
Another of Brielle's new faces
Yet another Brielle face
Skylee earned this giant cupcake and medal by learning and passing off all thirteen of the Articles of Faith this year. I must say I was one proud Mama! (Not to mention jealous of her amazing memory!)
Christmas Day 2013
Christmas morning... the pics speak for themselves
Ok this one might need a little explaining. My Grandpa Johnson passed away several years ago but a special tradition we had was to make Abelskivers from Denmark which is where my Grandpa served his mission. So we got my dad a pan for Christmas to remember Grandpa Johnson. The night before we made some and I hadn't had any since he was still with us. They are delicious!
Eight Months and Piano Recital
This little baby doll is eight months old! I am in total denial! She is scooting, crawling a little, laughing more, eating paper, and such a sweetie!!
Skylee started piano this year and is doing an amazing job. She had her first recital in December and played Good King Winceles once by herself and once with everyone singing. She did an awesome job and didn't seem nervous at all!
Skylee and Stacie Allred, her teacher.
Skylee seriously would hold and help her sister all day long if she could. She is an amazing helper and her sister sure loves her.
December Catch ups
Jaston's birthday was the 12th of December and he requested for his birthday to have a party at home, make his own cake, and have a pinata. I felt like those were all reasonable requests and so he planned his party and of course it was a Cars theme.
I left his pinata under the cart and realized once I got home so we had to go back and pick up a new one. Pretty grateful Walmart is great about stuff like that when you have a receipt. My brain sometimes...
