My sick babe...

This is how Jaston has been feeling the past few days. It really breaks my heart when my kids are sick and there is nothing I can do for them. Poor little guy just walks around with his little arms and head all droopy and lays his head on mine or Jeff's leg or will just sit in our arms for hours. I love the cuddling time but wish it didn't take him getting sick.

The one nice thing that has come out of this is he is feeling a little bit better today so he will lay down and watch Cars. I don't think he has ever sat down and watched more than three minues of a movie EVER. So today I have got so much done because he laid down and watched a whole hour before I found him curled up on my bed asleep. I did get a lot done in my house though because Skylee slept at Grandma's last night. Poor little guy!

Father's Day Gifts

I went up to visit my sis yesterday to make Father's Day crafts. We met at Walmart to pick up our supplies- this was an adventure with four kids. I had them all in my cart and Teona had the cart with the supplies. I had many people stop and ask if they were all hers- one lady was suprised they weren't becuase "they all have the same eyes". Anywho we found a bunch of random Father's Day Crafts online and put five together for a Super Fantastic Father's Day Basket (which better be greatly appreciated- after all the work!). 

Here is each of our projects that made up these fantastic baskets:

Coke bottles with different colored candy ( I was a little bummed the Skittles and the M&M's weren't more different. I would advise doing more of a diverse candy so they all look way different but they are still cute)

Cream Soda with cute labels

Candy Bars with fun labels ( all of these ideas are from fun places online if you are interested just google them and you will be amazed )

Pop the Top cans with gift cards/ checks (for my dad we are chipping in for a golf package)

It was super fun to go up and craft all day but holy cow it was time consuming I got there at 10:30ish and we were finally done about 5:00. We decided we should probably just make it tradition before holidays that require creative gifts to have a craft day and just do it together. I find that is the only time I really craft is when I do something like this. The kids loved hanging out with their cousins too. :)

Cruisin'

Jeff and I decided to splurge and go on a cruise to celebrate him finishing his masters. We decided to go to Long Beach and go on a five day cruise to Catalina Island, and Ensenada. It was so much fun and super relaxing. I didn't get sick at all until I got home and on solid ground. It took me two days for the world to stop rocking. I did really good and didn't miss the kids terribly until Thursday and then it seemed like all the little kids around reminded me of my babies and I started to be ready to be home. But seriously was a blast and so fun to just spend all day everyday with my honey having fun. :)

Jeff got volunteered (by his lovely wife) to go on stage and do the cruise's version of Minute to Win it (60 seconds or less). He had to bounce five ping pong balls off a table into a bucket, unroll a roll of toilet paper with one hand, and knock a pyramid of empty coke cans off a table with rubber bands. He was a great sport and did awesome. He got a medal and this trophy ship for doing such a great job :)

Forgot to mention that we had to wait quite awhile to get off the boat cuz we were on the bottom floor and got excused last (we may or may not have sneaked off  before they announced our level) so we were ready to hit the road for the 6 hour drive home. SO when we got to our car none of the electric locks would work- yep, we had left a light on in the car and the car was DEAD. Thankfully that was the only problem and after asking like thirty people someone finally had jumper cables and was willing to jump us. Also a blessing that the parking spot right in front of us was open and there was just enough room for a car to squeeze in past the dividers to get close enough to jump us (keep in mind we were in a parking garage). Many blessings to those people who saved our lives :) It was SO good to get home and hug and kiss my babies.
