Fun-Filled Week
The past week has been very eventful. Jeff's Mom's best friend (whew!) from Tennessee came to visit. Her and Diane met when they both lived in Paris, France. Jeff's family lived in Paris when he was 9 years old for a year and a half. His Dad was an electrical engineer for Chevron and they sent him all over while Jeff was growing up. So they have been best friends ever since. Each year they take turns going to each other's home for a few weeks. This year Miss Rose or Grandma Rosie (according to my kids) came and her and Diane have been partying in Vegas. Jeff, the kids and I went down to the state line (Primm) for a night and hung out with them and Jeff's brother, Ken, from Phoenix. We had a lot of fun. The kids loved the tram that took us over the freeway and they love sleeping in a hotel room. Jeff and I had fun on Buffalo Bill's crazy roller coaster... it has been a long time since I've been on a coaster. I loved it!
Another fun event this week was Father's Day. The kids had a ton of fun hanging with Papa and looking at his trains. He has an amazing talent/hobby building model trains. The kids are super into his trains but it gives me a heart attack having them around them they are so delicate and he spends so much time on every train.
We are so blessed to have both sets of grandparents in town so we got to spend Father's Day with all our Dads today. We had dinner at my parents. We had yummy tin foil dinners which I haven't had in ages. So good! The kids sure love their Grandpa and Grandma Johnson!
I do have to insert what a great Dad Jeff is too. I am so so blessed to have such an amazing husband who doubles as a great Daddy! Not sure how I was so blessed to deserve him but I am grateful for him and all he puts up with with me. Love that man!

On Saturday we took a drive up to Zion to show Miss Rose what Zion is all about. We had a fun trip and even added another smashed penny to our family collection.
My Father's Day present for Jeff was fishing poles for him and the kids so they could go fishing. So of course we had to go out tonight and try to catch some fish. It was a little hot and I think all the fish were down deep so we had no luck but Jeff wants to take the kids out in the morning again when it's a bit cooler. Hopefully they have more luck in the morning. I got what I wanted...pictures!
I told you it was a fun week! On Friday the kids and I went swimming with Kaesha and JT. It was so much fun. Skylee loved it! They had a slide and she went again and again. Jaston went once with me and after going under the water was pretty much done with the pool. He would stand on the steps but that was all. Thanks Kaesh for the invite it felt SO refreshing!

Baylee
My friend and neighbor at our old house (Ashley) just had her sweet baby girl, Baylee Jean Stapley. She is an absolute doll and so so tiny. When she was just four days old Ash asked if I would go take a few pictures of her and of course I was more than happy. They were so fun to take and she is SO precious. Here are a few of my favorite. Isn't she beautiful?

We went up to Salt Lake last weekend for an interview and had a chance to spend time with our sweet friends that moved up there, Taylor and Ruby and their beautiful girls. We went up Hobble Creek Canyon that evening and it was gorgeous. I couldn't help but take a million pics and ask advice from Ruby who is an amazing photographer. So I took a million pics and had a hard time narrowing down my favorites so guess what- I added them all. I think if I want to do this photography thing I need to be able to narrow down my pics. Oh well, I'm not a photographer yet so I'll just put tons of pics on. We had such a fun time with Taylor and Ruby. They are dear, dear friends. We also played with fireworks and the kids had a blast playing in the tub. While we were up there we got to go see Teona and her boys, and my Aunt Linda, Uncle Bob, and my cousin Heather and her adorable kids. It was a quick trip but so fun to hang with everyone.

Catch up post
My camera is full of pictures that I haven't got on here yet so here is my attempt at catching up. This first collage is of my crazy daughter. The other day she told me she wanted to dress like a lady so we did the best we could with a "ladies" outfit. Little goof.
These are some random pics at Skylee's game. Aunt Kels and Jaston and then at my parents house all the cousins watching John play the computer.
My Dad celebrated his 50th birthday May 19th of this year so we decided to have a great big sports party for him. It was a lot of fun. We had golf-ball throwing in the backyard, the Kinect hooked up in the Living Room, the Wii in the garage, and Pickle ball set up out front. We had a ton of fun and had a lot of friends and family over to celebrate a great man.
Here's the whole crew watching him open his presents. That cake is my masterpiece- very artistic isn't it? It was Delicious though it had a base layer of cookies, a layer of oreos on top and brownies and icing on the top layer. Oh and my Dad's favorite candy is M&M's so we had to add a few of those too.
For Family Home Evening the other night Skylee wanted to go on a Pink Hunt. We went for a walk to visit our friends the cows and their calves. Papa and Nana joined us. It was a pretty fun color hunt :)
This past weekend Teona and Wayne moved from Cedar (tear falling down my cheek) to move up north to Payson. Wayne has been working up there and coming down for the weekends so it's a good thing the fam is moving up but it means they are farther away from us. Good news is we did see them this weekend so I don't think a few hours will keep us away. Once the house was all loaded up us sisters had to play one last hand of Five Crowns in the empty house. Sure will miss having her close.
Family Fun
Jeff's half bro and family came down to spend time with the family over Memorial Weekend. We had so much fun. We visited the Wildlife Museum at the Dixie Center, played lots, went out shooting and swam in our kiddie pool. Here's a few of the many pics I took over the weekend.
