My Jaston can be a hoot and he can be a stinker. This morning he made me laugh out loud with his comments when I asked him to get dressed. He told me- " I am stressed abt getting dressed." When I laughed and started pulling his shirt off he tried another tactic- "it's too boring to get dressed."
He has been biting his fingers and keeps getting sores cuz he bites at his skin. Well while he was eating this morning he tried to explain that his finger hurt because he was eating too much food." Gotta love the logic there.
He is obsessed with electronic games right now and gets upset when I won't let him play. If I won't let him play on my phone, he will try for my IPod or the ipad and occasionally he will try for the Leap Frog. I'm trying to come up with how to limit his time on electronics but am not sure how I can make him understand since he doesn't understand time. Any suggestions would be welcome.
I found this note in my kitchen surrounded by water and sopping wet towels. It is meant to say "No Walking Right Here." And the little man is slipping. I thought it was hilarious- it is meant to be like the signs they put up warning you to be careful not to slip. I just loved her interpretation "No wok rit her."
I do love she is trying to spell things out and write sentences on her own. This is a new thing for her.
We went to dinner tonight and the kids adored their cotton candy dessert. The other pic is a picture Skylee drew at school. I thought it was super cute. If you can't tell it says- " I can play with ym(my) sistr(sister) nam ( named )Beael ( Brielle )"
We aren't a hundred percent sure but we are thinking of naming the baby Brielle so she was drawing a pic abt her. I'm excited, she will be a great big sister.
This past weekend Skylee had Friday and Monday off so we decided to go down to St. George and meet up with some family. We had family from both sides down so there was a lot of jumping from family to family but it was so much fun!
My sis-in-law on Jeff's side ( Aubrey ) and her three kids were down. We had a lot of fun with them. The kids played lots and me, Diane and Aubrey had some fun girl's time going to dinner, getting manicures and pedicures, and shopping.
My Aunt Angie, Uncle Patrick and their boys were down for Trevor's soccer tournament so we got to do dinner with them, watch some of Trevor's games and play Pickleball with them.
My cousin, Coby, just got home from his mission to Washington state a few weeks ago. We weren't able to make it to his homecoming so we had a BBQ with his family and mine Sun night. We had a lot of fun catching up and playing reverse charades. It was hilarious.
Can't talk abt the weekend and not mention that every night Kelsi, Teona and I stayed up to beat Emil, my dad and mom in Hand and Foot. I shouldn't have stayed up so late but it's kind of a family tradition and I love it!
Monday Skylee was so excited to get to go to one of her dear friend, Lydia's, bday party. We were so excited it fell on a day we were in St. George. We sure love the Riding family and miss being so close to them. Overall it was a super busy but wonderful weekend.

I am officially two months from yesterday away from this little gal's due date. My other two came on their due dates so we will shoot for the 20th of April and if she comes earlier great!
I went to the doc yesterday and he says everything looks good. I'm down to my two week appts now. I had a dream abt the baby the other day and I had no idea how to care for a baby at all... Hopefully it will come back to me in real life ;)
I can't believe this little girl is still growing but she is. My belly is continuing to grow despite the fact I can't believe it could possibly grow another cm.
The doc did say she is starting to go head down which is good news. Her jabs are gettin much more distinct and strong. I can usually feel an elbow or a foot jabbing at me. I love to feel her move inside me there is nothing like it.
I'm at the fun stage where it's hard to maneuver my gigantic, awkward body around and get comfortable esp in bed. I've learned as long as I have a pillow under my belly and between my legs on my left side I can generally sleep decent minus getting up to go to the bathroom eighteen times a night ;)
31 weeks down and 9 to go. I'm super excited and super nervous to have three little ones around here.
Today I had my 28 week doctors appt. Jaston went with me for the first time thanks to great friends for helping me out so he doesn't have to go often. It was actually a pretty quick appt but as I was setting up my next one I heard him say, " I'm bored of this!"
I am now down to the two week appts. I will be 29 weeks tom and so far the third trimester has not been quite as enjoyable as the second. In my first I napped almost every day when Jaston did. The last few days I have had to take a few cat naps. This pregnancy has been tougher physically- a lot more aches and pains and tougher to keep up the exercise and sleep. Needless to say I try to get to the gym or work out on the treadmill at least five times a week. My fav workout right now is Zumba and I'm sure it's hilarious to see a woman seven months pregnant attempt to dance but its fun and keeps me moving so ill try to ignore the looks :) one man at the gym today told me I needed to stop drinking so many beers I honestly have never been told that. Made me smile.
Anyhow back to the doc appt. he said baby is measuring right on. Feels like she is sideways ( I believe he said transverse or something like that- all I got was she isn't head down yet) but he said they usually can still flip around til 33 weeks or so. Then they prefer them head down. I passed my glucose test whew can't imagine the three hour test! Basically he said everything looks good and to keep doing what I'm doing.
Can't believe it's Feb and this little gal is coming in two months. Getting excited and anxious at the same time.
