My snuggle bug

Brielle like clock work is in my room every morning at 6:30. Usually she is pointing at the window and exclaiming "It's morning Mom! Get up! I want breakfast and Big Friend" But every once in awhile she will go through a spurt of time like the past week or so when she climbs into bed with me and will go back to sleep
And snuggle. Because of my humongous  belly and my maternity pillow it's proven hard for her to snuggle like we used to. This morning she took over Jeff's spot and just wanted to hold hands. I love watching my kids sleep!

Sistas

We are getting close- 6 weeks apart. In these pics I am 34 weeks and Kelsi is 28 weeks. I'm due late July and she's due early September. Little boy for me, little girl for her. It's been nice having someone to commiserate with.

Swimming Lesson 2016

Skylee and Jaston took swimming lessons from our sweet family friend, Kristen Andrus again this summer. They had an absolute blast and did well. These are pics from the last day when they got to show off what they had learned and also just play (Brielle finally got to get in the water and play). Brielle actually loved going to lessons too because her and I hung out in the shade with some other Mommas and their kids and she made some friends she liked to play with. The only down side is it was SUPER hot, esp the first week. But we survived and the kids are swimming better so all is well!

Brielle Quotes

NToday Brielle found a fly in our house (must have been on the verge of dying because she picked it up). I told her to take it outside. I went out a few minutes later and could see her walking around the yard looking around. She turned to me with her sweet little innocent eyes and said "I Tan't (can't) find his family! They must be in the rotts (rocks)." And she went and put the fly down in the rocks.
Anytime Brielle sees a measurement of anything it is "two-five mibits." For example she will get on the scale and declare she weighs two-five mibits! Or she will look at my watch and let us all know it is two-five mibits. I love it and know she will figure out those numbers soon and it will go away but oh how I love when she says it.
She is convinced there is a baby in her tummy too. She just crawled on my lap and i told her to be careful because my belly hurt. She crawled off my lap and kissed my belly and said "babies love kisses!" Then she informed me her baby loves water. Whenever her tummy hurts she says her baby hurts or she will tell
Me her baby feels better or her baby is kicking or getting bigger.
I love that she calls cows Moos and Sheep Ba-ah's too. It's super cute. She will say, "Look at all the moos Mom!" and I will say, "Yes, there are a lot of cows, huh?" "Yes, tows!" she will correct herself. Super cute little stinker she is.

Maestro

A few months back Maestro had to move on to the next life. Skylee really had a hard time with it. I tried to find pictures of her and Maestro from when she was little but couldn't seem to find them. Today this came up on my Facebook feed and I thought it was such a sweet picture that showed how much she loved "her" Maestro. This was 6 years ago.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a fun backyard campout at Grandma and Grandpa's and went on an awesome hike to see some petroglyphs. My body was at it's limit after this hike but the kids and Wayne and Jeff hiked up a volcano and almost gave us a heart attack sliding down the side of it. Jaston was quick to come and tell me how much fun it was to slide down the mountain and beg us to come another time. It really was such a fun weekend.
