Skylee gave me an amazing pedicure!
One of Grandma's friends sent Dayton and Brielle a cute card in the mail with some fun stickers to help with quarantine boredom.
My birthday was a quiet one but was still really nice. I woke up to this fun heart-attack. My birthday was on a Sunday so it was pretty low key. The day before Jeff had taken the kids out for a few hours for me to have some quiet time and brought back dinner. The one thing I wanted was a Pizza Factory breadstick. I knew I would be pushing my luck with gluten with that so I opted for gluten free everything else. I got Pad Thai from Benja's. It was delish. And then because of the social-distancing rules we took turns with Kelsi and Emil coming over to have brownies and ice cream and then once they left, my parents came over. We lit the fire and hung out around it. We kept our distance and kept it under ten people and kept it outside... following all the rules... It was a nice day regardless of the restrictions.
We were on a walk the other day and we ran into our neighbor's and got talking to them. The kids got to meet their chickens.
Grandma was missing us so she invited the kids for an outside picnic lunch and to play on the tramp and play set.
Our neighborhood has been doing fun challenges- bear hunt, safari hunt, chalk day etc.. here are some pics of the chalk day we did. It's helped mix up the monotony of the quarantine.
Quarantine parade! They came bringing treats for the kids and blasting music esp "It's The End of The World as We Know it."
