Ultrasound Pics 4/13

Here is the U/S pics at 25 weeks. One of the only advantages of having a high risk pregnancy is we get to see our beautiful baby boy once a month. At this ultrasound the doc said that the webbiness from before was looking better, my placenta had moved away from my cervix enough that it wouldn't be considered previa anymore :). The babe still appears to have club feet. I am still at a high risk for my amniotic sac (my water) rupturing early but there is still a chance I could go full term. He expressed that when I came in at 17 weeks he was super nervous with how bad it looked and if I ruptured then, it wouldn't have looked good for the baby. Once I was past viability (24 weeks), it was a lot better chances for the baby since he has a base development for his lungs. If my water were to break at this point they would try to keep the baby in as long as possible and deliver no later than 34 weeks. So that was comforting. He seemed a lot more optimistic at this appointment and even scheduled me for 6 weeks out rather than four. He spent a LOT of time looking at the heart this time which made me really nervous but he was just being thorough. He said sometimes with club feet there are other problems as well but he said everything seemed to look really good.
So now it's just a waiting game to see if my amniotic sac will stay strong for the full pregnancy or if it will rupture early. Every day/week he is in there is better. I'm hoping for July 16, 2016 to stay with our double date pattern with the other kids but still a few days early (11). But def no earlier than that. We will see when this boy decides to make his appearance. Skylee really doesn't want him to make his debut on her bday (the 24th). With my due date on the 27th there is no way to know... We shall see ;)
