Today is officially Skylee's birthday. I am in a little bit of denial but she really was born FIVE years ago. Crazy! So before we get to the birthday events yesterday I went to lunch with some of my sweet friends. We have been friends since middle school. Kaysha, Kaesha, Britny, and Amanda and all our fun kids. If I'm counting right there is ten kids between the five of us. After that we went swimming. I love these girls and all their cute kids!
So onto the birthday stuff. Skylee woke up today and I made her breakfast... a rarety at our house. I attempted to make a Mickey Mouse and an S out of her pancakes. She guessed it was a five... that works too.-------
Skylee was in the parade today with our ward so Jaston and I watched. This was my little stud covering his heart while the flag passed by. Can not get enough of this little man.
Here's the float of our ward. Skylee is in the red next to the girl with the blue hat.
Skylee got ten dollars for her birthday from Amanda and her kids and asked if she could go get an umbrella she had started to earn a few months ago and never got around to earning the whole thing. So we crossed our fingers they would still have them at the store (Payless) and they did! Of course we had to get Jaston one too.
Good day for umbrellas!
Skylee requested for her birthday to rent a Red Box, make a fort, eat treats and have a movie party. Thus... this pic :)
The kids were just sitting there so peaceful and still, I had to take a few fun pics :)
