So I am taking a photography class at the Deaf Center and it's been a ton of fun. I have recently started thinking that photography is a fun hobby and I have been wanting to learn more. This class has been good for me because it challenges me to look at different things that I normally wouldn't look at to photograph. So we get an assignment each week we are supposed to take a pic of. Here's my assignment for this month.
This assignment was to take a pic of something random you wouldn't usually take a pic of. This is in our back yard on our picnic table. Yeah, the kids had filled the top with sand. I love this pic because it says so much about Jaston- you can see his cars, his little skateboard and the top of a shovel. This kid would spend everyday outside in the sand with his cars if he could.
This assignment was to take a pic of your fav thing in your kitchen. I think she was going for a dish or an appliance but really this is my fav thing in my kitchen. I always have a bag of chocolate chips in my freezer. That way I can have a few when I'm craving some and I don't have to go binge because I haven't had any for awhile :) Funny because I can almost guarantee both of my sisters and most likely my mom have bags of choc chips in their freezers too :)
Jaston in his happy place. This pic was in observation mode. We were supposed to take a pic of someone like a fly on the wall. They weren't supposed to know we were there. When Jaston is in his happy place not much else exists so he didn't now I was around until I asked him to look at me and smile. I got some other cute pics of him smiling with this one.
This one we were supposed to take a pic of the distance. To try and see beyond what is just in front of us. This was good for me since I tend to think the closer the better. But this one was actually my fav pic this month so it's good for me to get out of my comfort zone. Isn't this pretty? This field is right by my house. We always walk over here and see the fun animals. The kids love it- This spring we had two calfs born in this field and we claimed them as our own and named them Timmy and Kenny :) Well I guess I should say the kids and Nana did.
