Major Catch Up

So it has been much too long since I have posted and much has been happening. For Jeff's birthday I wanted to surprise him since it was the big 3-0. So a few days before his birthday we invited some of Jeff's oldest and dearest  friends and their families over for a surprise party. Lo and Behold he came home early from work and ruined the surprise party but after Diane and I made up a whole bunch of stuff she was able to take him out and keep the surprise of his friends coming over a surprise. We had a lot of fun. I bought him a Baskin Robbin Mint Chocolate Chip Ice cream cake (yum!) and attempted to decorate the cake with an Iron Man theme. We sure are going to miss Taylor and Ruby when they move up north! We love spending time with these wonderful families!

A few nights ago Skylee and Jeff decided they would set the tent up in the back yard so the kids could sleep out. I thought for sure they wouldn't make it all night but they did and had so much fun. I was super impressed!

So this season was super tough starting with soccer but now that it's almost done Skylee is doing awesome! At first she wouldn't even play at all and now she plays as much as she can and loves it.
Our front yard has some beautiful flowers out front so I thought we would see if we could get any fun pics with the flowers. The kids were being pretty silly but we got some cute ones anyway.

Teona and my dad played in a pickelball tournament a few weeks ago and I took the kids out there to watch for a bit. We didn't last too long but it was fun to watch what we could. Skylee was having fun taking pics and actually did a good job taking that bottom-right pic :)
These last few collages are just pics I had on my camera of my little ones. They may drive me crazy a lot of the time but oh my goodness how much I love them. I didn't think it was possible to love someone so much it hurts but I it is. I love these kids more than life. They are my everything. Aren't they just such cute cute stinkers?

If he did, tell him I think he is cRaZy! haha jk

We've sure loved having Mrs Winger as Grant's teacher this year. She has been so great!

Yep he sure did and I agree. I think after he was done he may have wanted to agree as well. It was really neat tho. I know Diane has enjoyed having Grant too. She said he's pretty smart and loves to read. I hope Skylee can eventually be in her class if we are still in this area.
