This past weekend we were so excited to have all of Jeff's family come to Kingman for the first time to visit us. We had a lot of fun. Ken came Friday night and we just hung out. Saturday Jeff's parents and other brother, Greg, came down. That night we went up Hualapai Mountain to the lodge for dinner. The next day we went and saw the train at the park and the real trains(Jeff's dad loves trains and knows pretty much everything there is to know about them). What I won't tell you is that Jeff put pennies and nickels on the tracks to smash them. He used to do that as a kid. It is pretty cool but I would assume frowned upon... if not illegal. Needless to say we had a lot of fun having them and Skylee had a super hard time saying goodbye this morning. Being away from family is something she has never experienced so it's been tough but I think it makes the visits extra special.
Greg and Sky waiting for Ken and Dad to find something in the telescope to look at.
It was super dark and Skylee didn't like my flash so I just got a smile from Nana
Here's the boys checking out the train, we were bummed cuz usually you can climb on it but they had just repainted it... that may or may not have stopped Jeff and his Dad from getting a closer look.
Nana and the kiddos climbing the tree. Pretty sure I know which side of the family Skylee got her monkey-climbing abilities.
Skylee jumping from the tree.
This girl LOVES to climb everything but trees are esp fun.
We dropped by Jeff's work and I saw they had put his name up on the board, that was kind of fun to see. :)
